Schools of all ages, sizes and backgrounds use The Sketchbook Project as a learning tool.
Brooklyn International School
School kids listen to a talk about creating and handling sketchbooks.
CREATE WITH THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT
We encourage school groups of all sizes to use the project as a learning tool. Not only do students get to be a part of a global project, they get to create with fun restrictions, for a project that is outside of their normal classwork.
Top objectives for participating are:
RE-IMAGINING AN OBJECT / CREATING UNDER A THEME / LEARNING TO LET THIER WORK GO / LEARNING TO CATALOG AND TAG THIER WORK / LEARNING TO BE A GLOBAL CITIZEN
BRING THE BOOKMOBILE TO YOUR SCHOOL
The Bookmobile is a great way to inspire kids to rethink what a sketchbook is. It allows them to have a tactile experience, while feeling trusted to hold and flip through artwork.
