BrooklyN, NY

a few words from nancy:

Back in the 1980s when Brooklyn was cheap and art was all done by hand, I taught myself how to do architectural renderings and made a living out of it. But for a while now I’ve been finding that writing about being an artist was even more exciting than painting, and I published a memoir called “The Nancy Who Drew.” I’m currently working on the sequel which is about how drawing and painting from my imagination led me to a past life memory. Art can take us anywhere, which is one of the reasons I’ve enjoyed putting my feet down in Brooklyn again, and relishing the sights I see every day in these little sketchbook drawings.
