November Classes:

Thursday, November 9th from 11am - 12:30.  Sketchbook diary: Sketchbooks have long been used as picture journals and travel logs by artists. This class will explore the methods in which students can effectively use artwork and text to record and tell their personal stories in a sketchbook. Instructor: Joshua Fronk.

Thursday, November 30th from 11-12:30. Instructional Drawing Class. If your drawing was a finger, what would it be pointing at? A drawing is a way of seeing, and pointing out to us what you see. If done with intention and sincerity, a drawing is more expressive of you than any words you might say. In this class you will have personal assistance in refining and developing your skills. Instructor: Nancy Wait.

December Class:

Thursday, December 14th from  11:00-12:30. Observational 'Interpretational' drawing: Traditionally a sketchbook's pages are either filled with observational drawings or designed imaginations...and rarely do the two meet. In this class we will discuss drawings from the two sides of our brain-what we see and what we imagine-and then explore ways to successfully combine the two. Instructor: Joshua Fronk.

January Class:

Thursday, January 18th  from 11:00-12:30.

February Classes:

Thursday, February 1st from 11am - 12:30. Sketchbook drawing with ink: In this class we will explore methods, tools, and best practices for drawing in sketchbooks with ink. Instructor: Joshua Fronk.
