WEDDINGS AT THE LIBRARY
Located on a quiet street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn Art Library is home to the largest collection of artist sketchbooks in the world. Towering white shelves line walls of the library, holding over 35,000 original, handmade, individually-filled sketchbooks created by artists from over 135 countries around the globe. White painted brick, high ceilings, and black exposed beams give the library a hip industrial ambience that pairs well with the warmth and personality of the rows upon rows of sketchbooks, creating a distinctive pattern and artistic aesthetic unique to our venue. Brooklyn Art Library is ideal for wedding ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement photo sessions, and more.
Brooklyn Art Library has 1200 sq. ft. of usable space, 14 ft. ceilings, and roll-up double door access for load-in. We have an assortment of 40 chairs available, including vintage wooden folding chairs and modern white bucket chairs. Speakers, garment racks, and string lights are also available for use. Located in the notoriously hip Brooklyn neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn Art Library is easily accessible via the L and G trains.

We recommend no more than 90 for a buffet style dinner and 75 for a sit down dinner. For past Hors devours, you could potentially fit 125.
Can I use my own veondors?
Yes! We have recomendations, but you are welcome to use any insured vendor.
Do you have a PA system?
Yes, we have a small system with 2 speakers, iPod hook up and one mic.
I'm afraid my guests will mess up the sketchbooks.
Don't be! We are used to having large scale events. We will take care of this. No need to worry.
Do you offer full service weddings?
In theory, we can do everything for you. We have an in-house photographer, pa system, a florest and coordinators. All you need to do is find a local food vendor, and we will coordinate the rest.
